do NOT buy this for Kindle 2 !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! May 07, 2009
By D. S. Tharp This product has a very shiny, reflective surface which will make your Kindle 2 screen reflect light in a way that makes it very difficult to read. Once you figure this out and read their return policy you will find that you CANNOT return it once the back has been peeled off. Furthermore, while it fits the Kindle 2 screen, it says nowhere on the package that it was made for Kindle or Kindle 2.
What I thought would be a good (yet expensive)investment will turn out to be another piece of junk in the landfill....
Don't waste your money May 05, 2009

This went on perfectly. Screen perfectly clean and as far as I could tell dust free. Bubbles everywhere and they won't come out. It will have to come off and I've wasted this money.
Overpriced screen protector Apr 02, 2009

The Amazon Kindle 2 Clear Touch Screen Protector is not worth the money. I can buy 3 screen protectors for my touch screen cell phone for less than the price of this. If you bought a leather cover for your Kindle 2, this item is totally unnecessary.
Screen Protector Apr 01, 2009

The screen protector is a must have item to protect the screen on the Kindle. I really am glad I purchased it. I wish the Kindle came with the protector already on it. It wasn't real easy to put on.
Couldn't get it on... Mar 28, 2009

I went through 3 of these. I couldn't get them on without some dust getting trapped in between the cover and the Kindle screen. Just one spec of dust will be amplified enough by an air bubble to make it too annoying to use.
I bought a can of compressed air and wore gloves and everything... I just couldn't make this thing work.
Perhaps I live in a particularly dusty environment or something... *shrug*
