I gave this item one star because, as with every other screen protector like it, it was impossible to apply and wound up in the trash. That said, maybe it's just me. Perhaps in a completely dust free, clean-room environment wearing special gloves and holding your breath it is actually possible to apply one of these things free of even the smallest bit of contamination and avoid the air bubble syndrome. For those of us without a clean-room I suggest buying a protective case for your Nook (JavoEdge has several nice ones) and simply being reasonably careful with it.
