The November 23, 1936 debut issue of LIFE magazine, featuring a cover photograph of a dam at Fort Peck, Montana taken by Margaret Bourket-White.

Pages remain fully intact. Scribble of "First Edition" on cover (see photo). Bound by three staples. Small piece missing from back cover upper left-hand side. Overall, very nice edition that doesn't look its age.
