This product requires you to use their own special case that they manufactured. With the receiver attached to the back of the case that is required to charge your device. Needs some design improvement in my personal opinion

The powermat works as is says it will. The powercube is short on an adapter for my Motorola wireless headset though. I think I paid too much as well, but it was a last minute purchase and not available in the local retail stores.
