Robert Thomson Has Led A Fascinating Life Oct 09, 2008
I first met Robert Thomson on his tour of duty as U.S. Managing Editor of The Financial Times. He is an inspiring journalist with keen editorial instincts and a total lack of pretense. I absolutely love his NewsBio and the insights it provides into his thinking and how his colleagues feel about him. I wish all of our journalist bios had as much meat to them.
I highly recommend this profile to any public relations, media relations, investor relations executive or journalism student. It shows the evolution of a journalist who has risen to the top without having to sacrifice his integrity -- or his sense of humor.

Robert Thomson Would Approve of This NewsBio Oct 09, 2008
Robert Thomson likes thorough, insightful, original reporting. He would approve of this in-depth dossier on him. Although there are many 'official' biographies of Thomson available, none offer the insights you'll find here. I think that anyone who needs to know Robert or understand his influence on the Wall Street Journal newsroom will find this report invaluable. I certainly did.
