Well worth the money!!! Feb 07, 2012
By Angelisa This is totally worth the money!!! I purchased a 32g ipod touch for my 10 year old on Amazon this past December for Christmas and was looking for a warranty that went beyond Apple's 1 year. Days after my purchase I received an email from Amazon about the Squaretrade warranty. The price was right (I got it for 26.99 on Amazon), and there are no deductibles. I've never had a warranty from Squaretrade but I know others who have and I've only heard good things about their experiences with them. Buying the warranty was a no-brainer for me based on their reputation alone. I'm glad that I have the assurance of knowing that if something happens to my daughter's device I can count on Squaretrade to cover it with no hassles!
Easy straight up common sense warranty service Feb 07, 2012
By Dia There is not much to say other than Square Deal honors there warranty service as stated per there Web site. I had a situation in which a TV needed repair, and they covered the repair. The TV died again after a few months, because it was a problematic model and plagued with issues. Square deal gave me the value of what I had left-over of the purchase price so that I could get another TV. It sucks that I only got 270.00 back out of the 499.00$ purchase, but the first repair cost 229.00 in which I got the remainder from Square trade. Initially I was a bit upset, but they do clearly state there warranty process on the web site, and I would still use them over the warranty service at Best buy and consider there service extremly value based compared to others.
Very Misleading!!! Jan 06, 2012
By e I purchased this warranty when I purchased my ps3 a year and a half ago. My ps3 got the yellow light of death a few months later and I contacted them and they sent me a prepaid box to ship it back to them for repairs. They fixed it and everything went great, my ps3 was working again. Then my ps3 got the yellow light of death again and I contacted them and told them what had happened. They sent me an email saying they were just going to give me a refund, which sounds great. Then they told me it was only going to be for $130 and I paid $275 for the ps3. I was confused so I called them and they said it cost them $145 to fix it the first time so they subtracted that from what they gave me this time. When I said that was ridiculous since its the same problem they fixed a few months ago they should repair or give me a full refund. the reply i got was yeah that sucks for you. Whats the point of a warranty if they can't fix it correctly or give me what I paid in the first place. I will never buy a warranty from them again.

Amazon Purchase for Samsung Blu-ray Player Feb 10, 2011

Having just recently purchased this 2-yr Square Trade Warranty, I haven't had to use it. However, from what I understand from others this should be well worth the cost. Time will tell and if I'm let down I will definitely add to this review process.
