SquareTrade Warranty Mar 25, 2010
By Brian L. Harris The process was very simple, received my money in less than a week after I submitted my claim to Squaretrade. The only complaint I have is that I didn't receive my full refund back that I paid for the item. I had a PS3 Limited Edition 160GB (that I paid $399.99 for at Wal-Mart), that stopped working, I sent it in for repair. They called me and said that it was unrepairable, and that they was gonna refund me $299.99 to go out and buy a new one. Well the new PS3's only come with a 80GB hard drive. This is not originally what I had. When I bought my first PS3 I paid $100.00 more to have the 160GB hard drive instead of the 80GB. Well upon letting them know this, they increased my payment to $350.00. Well this is still not what I paid for my original unit. It clearly states on their website "that if an item is unrepairable, you will receive you FULL PURCHASE AMOUNT BACK". Well I have called 4 different times and asked for a supervisor on the situation regarding this, and I keep getting excuses that a supervisor is not available or something to that nature? I have over 13 items currently insured with them at the present time, so I'm not so sure that I will have them insure any more of my items in the future. So a word of warning, if you pay for an item and it happens to break sometime in the future, and the price has come down since then, you will only be refunded the current price at the time of the claim, not the original price you paid. So my very first claim that I had with SquareTrade was not a good one. Other than that, the process is very simple and streamlined!

Square Trade is the best option on warranty's Aug 12, 2009
By Eduardo Castro I knew about Square Trade because Ebay.
I bought some PC on Ebay & bought the Square Trade warranty.
Now, almost three years later, I had a problem with one PC, filed my claim, and Square Trade resolved the claim in 2 days, by internet, and without too many questions and request's. Meanwhile I check prices for warranties in Square Trade compare to Best Buy's & Walmart, and Square Trade much better prices. From now on, I will stay with Square Trade.

Square Trade Warranty Aug 05, 2009

"Electronics"
Good Value, but be careful when your tv can't be fixed, they'll pay out a depreciated value and NOT what you paid for it.

One of The Best Warranty Service I Ever Used Apr 06, 2010
By R. M. Smith I have several items with Square Trade whether purchased on the net or in stores locally. All are cheaper than store offered warranties by miles. I had a refurbished GPS that went out almost immediately after the manufacturer's warranty expired. I contacted Square Trade and filed a claim and within 48 hrs was sent an address label to send in the faulty item. Once received it was determined to be unrepairable and I was quickly notified that the purchase price would be placed in my PayPal account, which it was within days. The only problem I had was trying to file a claim online. It is best to do by phone. The only other experience I had was transferring a warranty to someone who purchased an item I had with Square Trade, and that was also a breeze. Highly Recommended.
