I purchased my new 3D Projector recently after my old one died of old age. Since there were a lot of new features and the frequency of repairs are yet unknown, I decided to get the extended warranty coverage. Maybe I will never need it, but I need not worry if I do. For me, its a better way to assure long service for my more expensive electronics.
