3A Truly Noteworthy Journalist - Tim (Timothy J.) Mullaney of Bloomberg News  Aug 20, 2008
The tough part of researching the tendencies and experience of any Bloomberg News reporter is that without subscribing to the mega-mega bucks service, researchers can't get the full byline output of any of the staff members.

Among NewsBios we've created on Bloomberg News reporters, Tim's is one of the most memorable and detailed. Yet it still lacks the analyses of his recent reporting that NewsBios regularly provides for reporters at most other news outlets.

Tim and his wife has faced and coped with some serious personal adversity. His background is, in my opinion, itself worthy of a published profile. I am always amazed as we probe the personal lives of reporters and editors just how many of them are themselves fascinating.

If Tim were going to interview me or my CEO, I'd sure think differently about him after reading this NewsBio. So while I'm only giving it 3 stars, I still feel it is must reading.
